I think pictures show the best of this tour which we renamed ‘the calamity tour’ after lots of things went wrong including, binding ripping out of ski, lights on car left on, over ambitious route planning etc. But all worked out well in the end and some superb skiing down arguably one of the best easy descents in the Alps. The North face was in poor condition for climbing and skiing with black ice on the majority so we avoided it. Some excellent snow on the normal route surprisingly, after a week since the last dump. Always lots of fun spending 3 days in the hills with ‘yer bezzers’.
